The movie is crude, lewd and lame. The dialogue consists primarily of the four main characters dropping the F-bomb every third word. There was potential here for an 80's nostalgia comedy, but the fim makers elected to see how low they could take this and still keep an R rating. It's rated R alright...R for ROTTEN! We walked out and got our money back. (I was pleasantly surprised that Centrury Theaters would do this!) Sooooo disappointed in Cusack. His movies are usually gems. He must have needed a paycheck. Do people really need to talk that way to be entertained in any way. NO! A bunch or morons who can't make a sentence without an f bomb does not entertain. I want my money back. We picked this one because of the 80's music and ended up laughing so hard. It's a comedy, yes they curse, but it's just a movie. People need to calm down and laugh a little more. It is not for kids at all. every person watching it was laughing the entire time. That being said, the movie was funny. I really enjoyed it. For those people who are complaining about the foul language...its a rated R movie, if that kind of thing offends you, it is your choice not to go, but you shouldn't rate a movie that you only saw 20 minutes of because you don't like potty mouths. I thought Rob Corddry supported the movie, not John Cusack, and thats saying a lot because I'm a hughe Cusack fan. I recommend this movie for anyone looking for a good laugh and isn't affraid to turn off their brain for an hour and a half an just enjoy a movie. Was this review helpful?
