Sign in 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Mature... but a Good Cop Movie"COP OUT" seems to be the mature twist of films like "Rush Hour"... with similar rumor to that of "Hangover". It’s about a cop who lost his baseball cards to 2 thieves, which he needed to get some money to buy something for his ex-daughter’s wedding. What I didn't get was Bruce Willis’ character not needing help from his fellow colleagues. Instead, with help from his buddy, the duo had goofy time getting mixed up with a sarcastic cat burglar (one of the thieves), and a gang of Mexican criminals (the main villains of the movie). As they were trying to get the cards back, for some reason, they stole a car… and found a Mexican woman in its boot. Things began to be twisted when they discovered that she had what the gang were looking for… a flash drive (disguised as a crucifix). I kinda found the part of Bruce’s character’s cards being accidentally shot stupid, but funny. In general, the movie was good, but too bad we have foul jokes and languages flying all over the screen. They were not needed. The ending was flat but, at least, the main character achieved much at his daughter’s wedding… even though his stack of wealth got shot earlier on. And… is it possible to walk away alive and all, having had your neck broken? I didn’t get this part of the movie, when the burglar played a trick at the forensic center. Was this review helpful? The categories should be based on who would like it according to age.
I don't believe there is one person in a million over 50 who would like this movie.
But, probably ever person under 20 would laugh their heads off.
Some dry humor (very little), and TONS of foul and gross language. And drooling.

I thought it might get better after a point, but no.....I almost walked out several times. I have to admitt I laughed 2 times but 95% was stupid to dumb dialog. Don't waste your money on a theater ticket, waste it on a dvd rental you'll save your self some grief.
I like Bruce Willis as an actor, And it wasn't his character that was so bad, but it made the overall movie horrible for me to watch.
The other character was trying to do imatations and movies scene dialogs from other movies to act tough. But it was way over the top and down the next hill.
Honestly I wouldn't even watch this on dvd again and thats a lot for me to say!

Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis do a great job, but Seann William Scott steals his scenes. I thought that Bruce and Tracey needed a little more chemistry but the jokes we on point. Sean William Scott was a great addition and their are scenes in this movie that will be classic. The charisma between Bruce Willis and Tracey Morgan was spotty at best. The only thing I laughed at was the scene that played after the credits ran. The film lacked focus. Save your money.
