There are people in AMERICA sataving, living on the streets & they spent billions of dollars to entertain those that have the money to go to the movie's to see it. I can't lie, Avatar was a great movie, but it could of been better for the money it was worth. I didn't go to the theatre's to see it because I didn't want to waste the money if I could just wait for it to come out on DVD. I have seen better movie's with Better effects ! My friend and I had to go back and watch it over and over because it just got boring!
It wasn't anymore than an updated Westerm cartoon.
Then you put sub-titles that didn't make any sense!
They rode horse like animals and shot bow and arrows. They were made up like american indians, from their wardrobes to there practices. I was waiting to see if Gen. Custer was going to finish off the job.

I would luv to borrow or rent this Avatar movie soon, there's a Roger's DVD movie rentals store just on the main street leading to downtown in my city so that would be an option if my library can't get it due to bad or poor reviews. I think the movie creators of Avatar have been thoroughly creative big time and from these people's movie reviews of this movie on this website, I would love to borrow this DVD from my local library (my city's a small city, just one library there!) or go to Roger's and borrow this DVD movie and watch it at home when my mom's out for the day/evening during the week or weekend day/evening. To all you Avatar fans of the classic Avatar cartoon series, great reviews! I've seen the cartoon series episodes for Avatar so I'm curious as to what the real life Avatar movie version would be like to watch on DVD. You guys know who you are (in a good way!), so thanks for the reviews 4 this movie. If I can borrow it from my local library soon, then I will watch it whenever where I live.
Thanks for the Avatar DVD movie review! This has made my mind up 4 me. I will hopefully get the chance to watch it at home hopefully soon.
I give this DVD movie (Avatar) ten out of ten stars; just for the special effects and the Avatar cartoon series reference. The Avatar movie and the series based on it rox! Thank you for the great Avatar reviews, cause it sure helped me big time!

It has to be one of the best movies of all time!
I thought the movie was gonna be all about the special effects but no!
The special effects were AWESOME! But thats not the only thing that was AWESOME!

Sign in 0 out of 0 users found this helpful best so fari have to be honest at first i tought this was going to be a lame sci-fi movie but when i watched it i just couldn't take my eyes off of it. everything from the effects and the story was great, exceptional, by far one of the best movies i have ever seen. the messege it gives you really make you think that we are destroying our planet when it can look as beautiful as pandora. the end made me cry and it makes you feel the emotion and worry that the characters are feeling in the movie, it and emotional, exiting, and great adventure everyone should watch. After that I was totally disappointed. Who in the heck would think to take Ferngully and Dances With wolfs mix them together and use it as a plot? The only thing that was missing was Robin Williams voice over of Batty. There are literally thousands of Hugo Award winning story’s out there that have been waiting for just this kind of high end graphics and what do we get? Reheated leftovers! One reviewer has put his finger on the whole problem. With this kind of high end graphics available the stories will begin to surface and what comes after will cause Avatar to fade away. . This is a complete movie, a bette version of star wars.
Better design ever made, even the king kong animals look like amateur work, because they are only evil.
The story is actual. The story is good. But the story is told in the best way ever.
Not to slow, not to fast. Beautifull images.
what more do we want, perfection is at hand.
Lets hope that this director make more of these things.
but see it in 3d intense movie experience.

Not only did Camron do a decent job making the film but he also put it in 3-D! But Jake Sully turns into Persus in Clash of the Titans. That was horrible. Don't see it people!
